This e-Readiness Index has been developed to create a consistent point of comparison for the stage of e-Commerce development across a range of countries and regions, on a biannual basis. It is made up of 20 metrics, related to five key elements and is measured on a scale of 1 to 100.
In 2015, total e-Commerce spend in Latin America reached US $50.1 billion. This is set to increase to US $92.2 billion by 2020, representing a CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate) of 13%.
